Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

VelshCo ("we", "us", "our") is a business run by Mae Kathleen Velasco and Orlando Velasco, based in Metro Manila, Philippines. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit velshco.com, support.velshco.com or dev.velshco.com, book a call with us, sign up for our checklist or newsletter, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name and role, the services you're interested in, your answers to our quiz, messages you send us, and details you provide when booking a call.

Information collected automatically: basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited and how you arrived at our site (for example, the ad or link you clicked), collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries and booking requests; schedule and hold discovery calls and consultations; send you the free checklist and, if you agreed, The VelshCo Brief newsletter and occasional tips; provide services to clients; understand which pages and ads are useful so we can improve our website and marketing; and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Cookies and advertising tools

Our sites use cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure visits and the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may collect information such as the pages you view and actions you take (like submitting a form). You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website hosting and database provider, Google (for calendar booking and email), Meta (for advertising measurement), and an email newsletter service, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also share information if the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may store or process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on their security measures and contractual safeguards to protect your information.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and lead information for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client information is kept for as long as we work together and afterwards as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, access and receive a copy of it, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in our emails. To make a request, email mae@velshco.com. We'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in the Philippines, this is the National Privacy Commission.

9. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access limited to the two of us, and secure, access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
